SEE (Signed Exact English)

SEE (Signing Exact English)

Today we had much rain. (there is a sign for each word in the sentence in the correct order)

ASL (American Sign Language)

Today rain much (reversed word order almost like Latin)

SEE is often timesconfused as ASL, but they are two completely different communication methods. While ASL is its own Language, with own Syntax, unique grammar, vocabulary and idioms, SEE is signed in the exact spoken English language, a visual form of the American English Language.
